Did you miss the FMLA Poster Compliance Deadline?

This past Friday on March 8, 2013, all covered employers must post the new Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) posters approved by the Department of Labor (“DOL”) in a place where all employees and job applicants may see it.  Maybe an employer does not have employees who qualify for FMLA at one of their companies locations, but this does not excuse the covered employer from the posting requirements.  The posters explain how an employee can file a complaint with the Department of Labor for FMLA Violations.  The posters also explain FMLA rights to the employees.  If your company is ever audited by the DOL for any reason, the investigator will check for poster compliance and any violation of the regulations.  So can’t delay, put your poster up today!  (Link to FMLA Poster Info)
